Head Start/Early Childhood Education
Family Service Worker

Job Description: Perform Family and Community Partnership Programs to ensure coordination and delivery of services that promote family and community development.

Minimum Qualifications Required: Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field and minimum of two years experience in related social service field. Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field preferred. Proof of valid driver license, auto insurance and driving record required for Agency travel.

Head Start/Early Childhood Education
Teachers (Pre-K, 3-5 years of age)

Minimum Qualifications Required: Associate degree in Early Childhood Education required, Bachelor or Master degree in ECE strongly preferred. Candidate must have good verbal, written & computer skills and preferably one (1) year experience working in an early learning environment with children 3-5 years of age in an urban setting (this can include practicum placements). Spanish skills a plus.

Assistant Teacher (Pre-K, 3-5 years of age)

Minimum Qualifications Required: Current Child Development Certification (CDA) required, in addition to high school diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in ECE preferred. Candidate must have good verbal and written skills and at least one (1) year experience working in a childcare environment, preferably in an urban setting. Spanish skills a plus.

Help Desk Technician

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:   Associate’s degree in technical field or industry certification; high school degree acceptable if currently pursuing associate’s degree in technical field.  Tech Savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases, remote administration and trouble shooting.  Good understanding of computer systems and applications, networking, PBXs, networked printers, security systems, mobile devices and other tech products.  Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.   Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in both written and oral format and to work cooperatively with other staff.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK PERFORMED: SUMMARY:  Supports staff on IT desktop, computer, phone and printer issues.  Interfaces with network and PBX provider, managed services firm, security company, and printer provider on day-to-day issues.  Conducts training on computers and technology for new and current staff.
